Definition
The Affirming Official is the senior company representative responsible for ensuring compliance with the Level 1 requirements and with the authority to affirm continuing compliance in SPRS.
No specific job title is mandated. In a small supplier it is often the owner or CEO. A consultant or IT provider cannot sign the affirmation for you.
